Hustler Casino Live Takes the Allegations Seriously and Britney Off the Air

Hustler Casino Live said Britney will take a break from appearing on the show while it reviews “the various allegations” against her, and that it will not draw conclusions before the review is complete. The statement names no allegation, timeline or reviewer. Co-owner Ryan Feldman had publicly backed her on September 25.

What happened

Hustler Casino Live said Saturday evening that Britney “will take a break from appearing” on the show while it reviews “the various allegations” concerning her. The statement, posted to the show's X account, says HCL takes the allegations seriously, is gathering information from the people involved and will not draw conclusions until the review is complete. It does not name an allegation, a timeline or who is running the review.

The allegations began as a staking dispute. On September 21, player C Ye said Britney owed her $18,000. Britney answered on September 25 and 29. She said she has no outstanding debts, and that after a private June 7 game at the Venetian, floor staff told her group the surveillance footage had been checked and C Ye's final chip count differed from what she reported, leaving about $80,000 unaccounted for. She cited a Venetian record of a surveillance inquiry reviewed June 21 and a video from player Jeff the Cash, who says he saw chips taken off the table.

C Ye denies stealing chips. She has said she took chips off the table mid-game and that it was a mistake, and that when she asked on September 30, Venetian security had no report under her name or Britney's. Charlie Carrel's September 27 investigation found C Ye's account consistent and Britney's changing. Dan Cates said he privately viewed Venetian emails confirming that surveillance video was reviewed, though not what it showed.

On September 25, co-owner Ryan Feldman replied to Britney: “I believe and support Britney. She would never not pay someone, especially $18K. This whole thing is silly.” Since then HCL regular Wesley, who says he has been banned from the show, has accused her in a series of posts, including over a 2023 private game. Britney posted a video from Aussie Alan, a player named in his account, saying she never owed anyone money and that Wesley's allegations aren't true. HCL's statement addresses none of it by name.

Why it matters

The statement commits HCL to a review but not to a scope, a deadline or a reviewer. The show's co-owner vouched for Britney eight days earlier, so the party doing the review has already said which way it leans. After the 2022 Adelstein-Lew hand, HCL's parent company announced a third-party investigation. This statement does not say whether this one will have one.
