Benjamin Rolle Rivered a Flush Nobody Saw Coming and Won His Second Bracelet Online

Benjamin Rolle, the German pro who plays as 'bencb789,' won the 2026 WSOP Online $1,500 Millionaire Maker on September 1, the kind of result that makes a solver quietly close its own laptop. He beat 5,518 entries out of a $7,863,150 prize pool for $1,366,929 and his second career bracelet. He closed it out against Loris Gauthier heads-up in a hand that had no business working: Rolle checked his option in the big blind with queen-three of clubs, the flop came queen-eight-four with one club, the six of clubs turned, and the king of clubs rivered him a flush out of nowhere. Gauthier, playing a hand that had been correct up until that exact card, raised into it and called off his last 14.2 big blinds with king-ten for top pair, exactly what a made hand is supposed to do against a checked marginal holding. The win came less than a year after Rolle beat 5,961 entries in the 2025 WSOP Online Main Event for a career-best $3,900,707, so this is starting to look less like variance and more like a pattern. He is a CoinPoker ambassador, founded the Raise Your Edge training site, and now has roughly $6.8 million in recorded scores, most of it apparently earned by getting there on the river.

A field of 5,518 entries in an online bracelet event is a genuinely enormous number, larger than most live Main Events, and Rolle beat every single one of them a year after doing almost the same thing in the format's biggest event. Online bracelets do not carry the same prestige as their live counterparts in most players' eyes, but the fields, and increasingly the money, are starting to make that snobbery look outdated.
