14th at Card Player, five titles, $936,592
The Circuit record-holder is ranked above Adrian Mateos, Isaac Haxton and the reigning world champion on a bankroll smaller than what several of them made in a single tournament. If POY is supposed to reward playing well and often rather than running hot once, Hawkins at 14 is the system doing its job.

12th, Card Player POY, 4,512 points
Also the Card Player race, not the WSOP one. The Choctaw win added 720 points across 15 POY-qualified final tables. Second-most final tables on the circuit this year, tied with Punnat Punsri, behind only Brandon Wilson's 18.
